Original General Motors

This turbocharger (1684706280) is the complete turbo assembly for the Opel Astra K's 1.2 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Exhaust gas drives the turbine; boost pressure is regulated by the wastegate. Typical reasons to replace it are power loss or limp mode, boost fault codes, whistling, blue smoke, oil in the intake or shaft play. Fix the cause first (oil supply, oil quality, blocked return line), or the replacement turbo will fail the same way. Fits the Astra K 2019-2021 with F12SHL, F12SHT and F12SHR engines, not the 1.4 Turbo. OEM numbers 1684706280 and 25204082 are interchangeable; compare your old turbo's number.
