This ACC front distance radar sensor is the medium-range radar unit mounted behind the front bumper. It measures the distance and closing speed to the car ahead for adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. It is usually replaced after a front-end knock, or when the dash keeps showing ACC unavailable or radar fault messages. Number 50563998 fits the Giulia (952) and Stelvio (949) 2020–2023 with automatic emergency braking, the Giulia MCA from 2023, and the Stelvio MCA from 2023 with AEB. For MCA cars built to GSR step 2 rules from July 2024, the catalogue lists a different radar, so check by VIN. After fitting, the radar has to be aligned and calibrated with a diagnostic tool. Compare the number on your old sensor before ordering.
