This brake servo sits on the bulkhead between the brake pedal and the master cylinder. It uses vacuum from the engine, or from the vacuum pump on diesels, to boost the force you put on the pedal. It is supplied as the servo only; the master cylinder is not included. Typical signs of failure are a hard pedal, hissing at the pedal, idle speed changing when braking or a leaking internal diaphragm. Check the vacuum hose and its non-return valve first, because they cause the same symptoms. Fits Opel Mokka / Mokka X (J13) 2012-2019, OEM numbers 42750816, 42830361 and 95077590. After fitting, bleed the brakes and check the pushrod setting. Left- and right-hand-drive versions may differ, so compare the number on your old servo.
