This bonnet latch sits on the upper radiator support of the Hyundai Tucson 2015-2020 and catches the bonnet striker to hold it shut. It opens via the interior release cable, and the secondary safety catch holds the bonnet until you free it by hand. Typical reasons to replace it: the bonnet won't close or open, rattles over bumps, or the bonnet-open warning stays on. It fits only left-hand drive cars with the Active Hood System (pop-up bonnet); cars without it take 81130-D3100, so check by VIN if unsure. Mark its position before unbolting so the bonnet stays aligned. OEM number: 81130D7000 (81130-D7000). Compare the number on your old latch.
