This rear headlight levelling sensor is mounted between the rear body and a rear suspension arm via a lever and link rod. It tells the levelling module how far the rear sits down under load, so the headlights stay correctly aimed. Typical reasons to replace it: a levelling warning or fault code, headlights dazzling others or aimed too low, or a broken lever or link rod. Fits Nissan Qashqai 2013–2021 and Renault Kadjar 2015–2022, front-wheel drive only, and only cars with LED headlights; other versions use a different sensor, so check by VIN if unsure.
