The Turbo Wastegate Vacuum Reservoir is a small tank in the vacuum line controlling the turbocharger wastegate. It stores vacuum from the vacuum pump, so the wastegate actuator, switched by the boost control solenoid, always has a steady supply and boost stays correct. It is not the actuator or the solenoid itself. It usually needs replacing when cracked or leaking; typical signs are hissing from the vacuum line, underboost fault codes or limp mode. It fits the Opel Astra K 2019-2021 with 1.2 turbo petrol engines F12SHL, F12SHT and F12SHR. The OEM number is 25205791; compare it with the number on the old part.
