Original Renault

This body control module (BCM), called the UCH by Renault, sits under the dashboard and controls central locking, remote key reception, lighting, wipers and other cabin functions. It is usually replaced when the locking or remote stops responding, when lights or wipers act on their own, or after water damage. It fits the Renault Master III 2.3 dCi from 2014 and the Master III E-Tech / Z.E. from 2017 with electric central locking. The remote key type and the automatic lights/wiper setup also matter, so check by VIN if unsure. After fitting, the module has to be configured and the keys matched with a diagnostic tool. 284B25740R supersedes 284B17791R, 284B10328R, 284B18392R, 284B13324R, 284B11529R, 284B19799R and 284B10516R.
