This engine compartment fuse box (BSM) sits under the bonnet next to the battery and carries the main high-current bolt-on fuses, from 30 to 100 A, that feed the vehicle's main power circuits. It comes with the mounting tray and bracket shown in the photos. It is usually replaced after water gets in and corrodes it, after a fuse stud or contact burns, or after the housing melts from a short circuit. Typical signs are a no-start, whole circuits going dead, and electrical faults that come and go. 9831821480 fits the Jumpy III/Dispatch IV, SpaceTourer, Traveller, Vivaro C, Zafira Life, Scudo and Ulysse III with the R2 INT or R3 INT electrical architecture. Vans with the FULL architecture and early Citroen and Peugeot builds use other units, so check by VIN. Compare the number on your old engine fuse box.
