The shaft balancer kit reduces engine vibration in the 2.2-litre 4N14 diesel engine by counteracting the secondary forces generated by the reciprocating pistons. A worn or failed balance shaft assembly leads to increased vibration, rough running and accelerated wear of engine mounts and gaskets. The kit consists of the balancer shaft drive gear (1132A168), balancer shaft unit (1125A281), drive gear thrust plate (1132A026) and balancer shaft coupling (1132A027). Manufactured in Japan to OEM specification. Compatible with Mitsubishi ASX and Outlander 2.2 (4N14 engine) from 2010 to 2017. OEM reference: 1132A018.
