Original GM

This turbo intercooler hose (42373333) is a pressurised boost hose in the charge-air circuit of the 2.2 diesel engine. It is the elbow hose that carries the cooled, compressed air from the intercooler to the throttle body. With age the rubber hardens, cracks or splits and boost escapes. Typical signs are loss of power or limp mode, a whistle or hiss under boost, oily mist around the split and boost pressure fault codes. It fits the Chevrolet Captiva 2011-2015 and Opel Antara 2010-2015 with the 2.2 diesel only. The current OEM number is 42373333; the earlier number was 22744180. Clean the pipe ends before fitting. The other boost hoses on this engine have different numbers, so compare the number on the old part.
