This complete inlet manifold is the plastic manifold of the 1.4 Turbo petrol engine in the Opel Astra J, Zafira C, Corsa E, Adam and Cascada. It sits on the cylinder head and feeds charge air from the throttle body to the cylinders. Cracked plastic, a broken mounting point or a damaged sensor port are the usual reasons to replace it; an air leak causes whistling, loss of boost, rough idle and lean-mixture or boost fault codes. It fits manual gearbox cars only (automatics use 25197572), from model year 2015 with A/B/D14NEL/NET and from 2016 with B/D14NEH/NEJ engines; earlier cars use 25197573. 25197574 replaces 55593643. Compare the number on your old manifold before ordering.
