This oil pump sits on the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo two-cylinder petrol engine and feeds pressurised oil to the crankshaft and con-rod bearings, the turbocharger and the MultiAir unit that operates the intake valves, so low oil pressure also causes MultiAir faults. It is usually replaced when the oil pressure warning light comes on, pressure drops at hot idle, the pump gets noisy, or after engine damage. Fits the Fiat 500 from 2015, 500L, Punto MY2018 and Alfa Romeo MiTo with the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo. Not for Natural Power (CNG) versions, which use a different pump.
