This blind spot radar sensor (rear right) is the radar module behind the right-hand corner of the rear bumper. It watches the blind spot and the adjacent lane and lights the warning in the right door mirror. It is usually replaced when a blind spot alert service message appears, the mirror warning stays dark, or after a knock to the rear corner. It fits the Opel Insignia A facelift, model years 2014–2017, with blind spot alert; if you are unsure about the equipment, check by VIN. It is not a parking sensor, and the left module (84007647) is a different part. The new module must be programmed with a diagnostic tool. Compare OEM number 42450157 with the number on the old part.
