This left rear barn door lock is the latch mechanism in the left-hand of the two side-hinged rear doors on the Renault/Dacia Logan MCV and Logan Van, which have barn doors instead of a tailgate. It holds the left door shut and releases it when opened. It is usually replaced when the left rear door won't lock or won't open, doesn't stay shut, rattles or no longer responds to the central locking.
