This cylinder head cover, the aluminium rocker cover (or cam cover) on top of the 8-valve petrol engine, closes off the camshaft and valve gear and keeps the oil inside. It comes as an assembly: the rubber gasket is already fitted in its groove, and the oil filler cap, an electric solenoid valve with connector and a hose fitting are mounted on the cover. It usually gets replaced when it is cracked or warped or when the sealing face is damaged. The usual signs are oil weeping around the edge, oil on the exhaust manifold or a smell of burning oil. It fits the Fiat 500 (312) facelift 2015-2020 1.2, the Panda III (319) from 2012 and the Panda MY2022 1.2 petrol and petrol/LPG, and the Fiorino III / Qubo facelift 1.4 petrol and petrol/methane.
