This flywheel is a single-mass unit with a starter ring gear. It bolts to the crankshaft of non-turbo 1.2 and 1.4 16V petrol engines with a manual gearbox (Z12XE / X12XE, Z12XEP, A12XEL, A12XER, Z14XE / X14XE, Z14XEP, A14XER, B14XER), and the clutch disc runs on its face. It fits the Corsa C, D and E, Meriva A and B, Adam, Combo C and Astra H. If you are unsure about the engine or gearbox, check by VIN. It is usually replaced together with the clutch. It also needs replacing when the starter grinds or fails to engage because of worn ring gear teeth, or when the friction face is scored, cracked or overheated. 55572815 replaces the older 90232333. On late 1.4 16V cars (A14XER / B14XER) a different flywheel was fitted from a certain chassis number, so compare the number on your old flywheel.
