This heater control valve sits in the coolant circuit ahead of the cabin heater core on the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. It controls how much hot coolant reaches the heater core, which sets how warm the cabin gets. It is usually replaced when the heating stays lukewarm or cold, will not regulate properly, or coolant leaks at the valve. It fits the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0 and 2.4 PHEV, 2013–2021. Part number 92486W000P supersedes the older 7805A390. After fitting, top up and bleed the cooling circuit. If in doubt, compare the number on your old part.
