This wastegate solenoid valve controls boost pressure in the turbocharger system of the 1.0 T-GDi G3LC engine. The solenoid receives a signal from the ECU and regulates the pneumatic actuator that opens or closes the wastegate, limiting turbine speed and keeping boost within the specified range. A failed solenoid causes incorrect boost pressure, triggering fault codes, poor throttle response, a drop in power and, in some cases, overboost that can damage the turbocharger. Compatible with Hyundai i20, i30, Kona and Kia Ceed, Rio, Stonic with the G3LC engine. OEM reference: 3940004500.
