This is the updated version of the cast exhaust manifold bolted to the cylinder head of the 4N13 (1.8 DI-D) and 4N14 (2.2 DI-D) diesel engines. It collects exhaust gas from the cylinders and passes it to the turbocharger. It usually needs replacing when it cracks or leaks. Typical signs are ticking or puffing at cold start, an exhaust smell in the engine bay, soot marks around the manifold and weak boost. It fits the Mitsubishi ASX 1.8/2.2 (2010-2017), Lancer 1.8 (2010-2012) and Outlander 2.2/2.3 (2010-2017), with 4N13/4N14 diesel engines only, not the petrol engines. OEM numbers: 1555A958 and 14002W000P. Gaskets, nuts, heat shield and turbo are not included. Compare the number on your old manifold.
